SAM-LEAP5 is an integrated bridge design and analysis software suite featuring section design,
beam design, line beam analysis, grillage analysis, finite element analysis and load optimisation. The
software supports a variety of international design and assessment codes including the Eurocode, AS5100, AASHTO LRFD, AASHTO LFD,
AUSTROADS, New Zealand Transit Manual, BS5400, BD37/01, BD86/01 and BD21/01 specifications.
We have released an update for SAM-LEAP5 to correct some minor issues in version 5.30c. This is now available to
download from the Support section of our website.
We are pleased to announce that we have appointed Patado Engineering Limted to be a
distributor for Bestech Systems software products in Nigeria. For contact information please visit our
distributors page.

This upgrade includes a number of enhancements to the software such as a new post-tensioned beams module as well as a series of fixes to correct
problems found in previous versions. You can read more information about this upgrade here.
ring2.0 was given its official launch at a seminar on masonry arch bridges held at UIC (International Union of Railways) headquarters
in Paris on 9th May 2007. The venue was fitting given that ring2.0 was developed from the outset in co-operation with UIC. In attendence
at the meeting were representatives from railway companies and other organizations from across the world.
Bestech Systems are the worldwide distributors for ring2.0, the rapid analysis tool for masonry arch bridges, for which more information can be found at www.masonryarch.com. More
The section design modules allow you to define sections of any shape, apply moments,
axial forces and shears and then determine the section properties, stresses and
strains. More
The analysis modules model a wide range of bridge structures from
line beams, through offset grillages to plate finite element models.
Integration with the section and beam modules leads to a very rapid design cycle.
